In the early 1970's I was laid off from Rockwell and I went to work for Lockheed. I worked there for almost 3 years. I started there as an Electrician working on the L-1011 Tri-Star program. I ultimately wound up as a Flight Line Electrician preparing the L-1011's for delivery to the customer. From there I went to the SR-71 program for about a year and then back to the L-1011.

In 1973 I hired back on at Rockwell working on the B-1A program as a Electrical Mock-up tech. I was mainly involved with the mock-up and installation of the instrumentation wiring and systems. When number 3 B-1A went to Edwards AFB for flight test, I went out with it as a Flight Line Electrician.

When president Carter canceled the B-1A program, I went to work on Shuttle the Space Shuttle program in Palmdale. I worked on the Shuttle program until the last Shuttle was delivered.

While I was at the Space Shuttle program, Rockwell started building 100 B-1B's, so when I was laid-off from the Shuttle program I was fortunate enough to get picked up on the B-1B flight test program at Edwards AFB. I was mainly involved with the Flight Test Instrumentation system on the B-1B flight test birds.

When things slowed down on the B-1B flight test, I went to work on the A/C-130U Gunship flight test program at Edwards AFB also. I stayed there for a couple of years and then, back to the B-1B flight test program.
