Welcome to Walt's little spot on the INTERNET. I thought I would start this website to let my friends and ex co-workers know what I've been up to since I retired. As of now it is still a work in progress.
As some of you may know, in October of 1960 my dad told me, "go out to North American Aviation (NAA) and see our Church friend Art Hill". Art was the man in charge of hiring at NAA, so I did as my dad said went to see Art and filled out an application to be hired. Art told me he would hire me but the job would probably only last 6 months.
So on 10/10/60 I went to work for North American Aviation. 6 months came and went. On February 1, 2011 after 50+ years I finally retired from Boeing. I started at NAA and in the late 60's Rockwell International bought NAA. Then in the late 1990's Boeing bought the aviation division from Rockwell and that is how I got to Boeing.
